Job Title

Product Manager 

The Company

We’ve been leaders in hydroponics and advanced gardening since 1976 and we continue to have ambitious growth plans. We’re looking to expand the Product Department to help us to achieve business growth by developing new products.

The Role

The focus is hydroponic products but you will also be working on aquatics, gardening and vacuum formed and metal fabricated products across a range of market sectors.

The position is responsible for…

Working inter-departmentally to complete product projects on time and on budget.
Delivering products by sourcing, negotiating and fostering business relationships.
Building an understanding of the market, customers and competitors.
Creating sound business cases for product development projects
Establishing yourself as the ‘expert’ across product categories.
Delivering training and technical support at colleague and customer level

The Person

The role is varied and fast-paced. It will suit a detail-conscious self-starter with several years’ product management/development experience. Excellent communication and problem solving skills are essential.

You need to be a good problem solver, commercially aware, driven and possess an ability to see the full picture. You should enjoy working with technical products and spending time with customers and suppliers. Must be willing to travel when required.
